This is fucking hilarious. Hey dude. First off, I think you're taking this all a little too personally and seriously. Like you said, this is all pretty much foolish child's play. Nothing more. I have no problem admitting this is all rather immature, but at the same time there is an element of entertainment in it for me that outweighs the infantilism.

Listen genius, I would have quoted your written word exactly as it was written, had you not deleted it, leaving me unable to quote it word for word.

Believe it or not, I have been extremely objective in my “research.” As you should remember, I gave you the benefit of the doubt for a little while. I didn't call you out until I had plenty of reasonable evidence to support a theory that is shared by many longstanding and respected members of the forum. I wish I had bookmarked all the posts that point to your bullshit, but I didn't anticipate having to cite them again.

Here's a quote from you just now that hopefully you won't delete:
“If you and your new friends truly wish to silence the Kochman, you might consider to stop promoting his name.”

What are you saying? If we stop talking about you, you'll disappear?

Here's another quote:
“I have a life and don’t have the time to surf the net all day and live at the GD Forum, I spend a few hours a couple of evenings each week listening to music here”

I smell bullshit. You've gone back and edited so many posts at various points throughout the day. Amazingly, it took you 3 whole days to come up with the above response! You posted and deleted several things in your brief absence, and you have obviously been reading all the shit that has been said about you recently, but waited until now to reply.

Remember, I don't care who you are, just what you post. I just think you'd save yourself a lot of work if you came clean. The work you go through to uphold your "integrity" is astounding though, and that should be commended.

I'm about ready to pass out for the night, but I will probably get the urge to call you out on some bullshit tomorrow or over the weekend. Night Koch :-)

Yeah, gotta appreciate the entertainment value of these old traditional plots. Even though I can't quite keep straight who's supposed to be who. Starsky is Koch is not Rain is Skobud is deNiro is Koch is ... oh um ah ... Has Hitchcock put it in an appearance yet? And which one is the Big Lebowski? Maybe it'll turn out it's the Matrix and we're all Jeff Kaplan.

Yesterday was Valentines Day and i had an obligation, if you really think that i live for this place and your handful of "long standing and respected members", think again. There's the music and who or what else really matters?

I take it all to seriously? You’re the one who went through and read all of my posts here and that’s a creepy/weird factor on the internet, the stalkers movie!

Why is it when the New York forum members announce a gathering that you decline their invitation? You're just a tunnel away, yes?

I recall a conversation early-on when you "re-appeared" here after an absence of 13 months and i mentioned, "you seem a little too polished, have you ever posted here before and do you have any other handles?"

If Kochman testified that one of his LSP members had 5 handles and Skobud admitted to owning 5 handles here at the IA, then it stands to reason that everything written here is completely unbelievable except for one thing and that's the music.

Your so-called theory is just a repitition of 4-5 other peoples opinions. Where's the documentation, evidence and proof?

You have now entered into the negativity and attack modus operandi, therefore my theory will now extend that you Skobud and Snow_and_Rain are one in the same. Your charm at first was a little suspicious. Tell all of us here again the story that you’re just a 24 year old punk!

“I wish I had bookmarked all the posts that point to your bullshit, but I didn't anticipate having to cite them again.”

“You've gone back and edited so many posts at various points throughout the day.”

“Amazingly, it took you 3 whole days to come up with the above response!”

“I just think you'd save yourself a lot of work if you came clean.”

What exactly are you saying? This is complete jibberish and denial denial.

Further, I have never claimed to be a genius or an expert, i simply share my lifes experience and my informed opinion. I wish that you had something worthwhile to enlighten us that we could all learn from.

Now, get to work, read Kochmans posts and acquaint all of us as to the parallels that you interpret. You started this, you called me out, so do the research and get to work and draw us your factual opinion beyond a reasonable doubt.

I'm happy that your parents didn't waste their money sending you to law or private investigation school, your theories lack substance. Why don’t you consider focusing your energy in the future on something sweet instead?

And, if you're in need of a role model i’ll suggest Blue Devil, he seems like a stand up fellow, two feet planted on the ground, has worldly wisdom and an ear to the grindstone in terms of current artists performing competent original material, a sense of humor, but is mature enough to rise above the majority of petty insults and attacks.

Hows bayou? Kiss up or kiss off?

You are so delusional, this doesn't even warrant a response. Anyway, for fear of dragging someone else into this mess whom I'd rather not do that to right now, I'm going to hold off for a little while with accumulating all the concrete evidence, which is not even necessary for me at this point, but would only serve to convince some others who haven't wasted so much time in uncovering all your blatant lies.

There's really no end to this anyway, since you will always continue to craft your life around a series of lies. But since I do find this all semi-entertaining, I will probably return with some accusations in due time. Until then, let's just enjoy the music! I got nothing against you man, although I know you probably hate me now :-)

I don't know what you're blabbering about with declining an invitation to an NYC forum meetup. I'm pretty sure there was only one attempted meetup since I've been an active poster, but as I recall it was cancelled anyway.

Your accusation of me being Skobud and/or S&R is beyond crazy, and is the exact type of thing Koch would say. In fact, you could not have done a better job of acting like Koch in this thread, particularly with the immature personal attacks. You try SO hard not to act like him, that you end up letting your true colors show way too often. Hilarious! I've shared a fair amount of personal information here over the last several months, and all of it is the truth.

I'm going to invest my free time in the music for now, and I'm glad to see that most people have been doing the same, despite this absurd thread. ARose, you crack me up! This whole thread is pretty amusing, but I just don't like to see it clog up the GD forum. Cheers pal.

Hey--those ARE words of wisdom: to wit, "...use BD as a role model" (or some such).

Good call. And though, like Rose, I am more and more befuddled as to who is whom, though I am strangely past caring, I would say I have not had any military exchanges of note since the days of K-man and NC (micah and I merely exchange titles now and again).

Er...book titles; hmmm, maybe he was the PM for a while, but that was always an unofficial title anyhooo...

I'm a bit mixed up on who's who, per your post, however Rob is not Koch and you can take that to the bank.

Well, thank God, most all in this thread enjoy the GD...I think. Peace :)

Does that clarify things a bit?

"Strangely" past caring? How about sensibly past caring? Every time these inane & insane squabbles take up so much room on these forums I wonder how many potentially valuable and interesting conversationalists are lost to the ether because they decide the people that inhabit this space are a bunch of loonies.

Yeah, "sensibly" was my own inside joke, but you got the idea...I used to be much more involved in these "who's who?" and even playing (!!) the role of feeble moderator (failed miserably), but I've given up, for whatever reason. That's what my "retirement" two yrs ago was about for those that recall it...

And, the fact is, I have been as gulity as anyone here for ramblings and accusations, and blah, blah, blah.

So, I can't really call anyone out for going off topic; and I still enjoy threads of some nonDEAD issues, of course.

I enjoy alot of them as well. Come to check TJI, stay for the insanity. It bums me out though, as I've read in the past here that some luminaries specifically choose not to participate because of the meaningless interpersonal squabbles that sometimes dominate.

Yes, that's a defn worry (loss of good contributors).

For those like Dire, McGlone, Rob, elb and a few others, FWIW, I do know that they departed (reduced posting time) out of burn-out (natural progression of the "it's all been said") and/or "having a life" (ah, to be so lucky, eh?), rather than having literally left because of all the rants/raves/etc. IE, just because we communicate off site, etc., we've chatted about it all.

But, love your line: "come for the music, stay for the insanity".

The other thing I love, if it won't seem creepy, is connecting with various folks over the yrs that might even have been ones that I never interacted with prior, or shared some "negative exchanges" past, only to find myself in an exchange--like this one with you--in which I find myself with a great deal in common with the poster I'd not spent much time chatting with...assume that makes sense.

"WWBDD?" certainly has a nice ring to it, eh?

Hmmm, might also refer to some sort of super charged lubricant though, ya know?

Just add "40" to the end?

I guess there's good loonies, like "Loony Tunes" and Wavy Gravy, and bad loonies, like John Wayne Gacy. I know some people that have been around for very long feel that "on topic" conversations seem to be cyclical and everything that can be said on topic has already been said, but I think I disagree with that.

Jobygoob,
I agree with your disagreement that "everything that could be said on a topic has been said" since even though the questions are the same those answering them are different.

In one way, the answer-ers are different because there are forumites that were not here the first time the question was asked. This gives us "new" blood. Which also has a double meaning since it seems a high percentage of new forumites are younger Heads. Heads that were not yet in first grade when Jerry died. I think they bring a different perspective to the mix than those who grew up spinning vinyl.

And, the other way is that the answer-ers have "evolved" since the last time the question was asked. I've been here for about 8 years (I used to have a different handle (NO!! I wasn't/ain't Kochman (or, even telephone toughguy,))) and I know my tastes have changed; my knowledge has increased exponentially (Before I got here, I thought a quodilibet was like a Tibetan yak or something.) I would answer a call for my favorite "TOO" differently now than I would have when I first arrived or, even, two years ago.

Sugaree opener and nice 17 minute He's Gone, and a very Jerry TOO.

The Mutt Romney Blues track is all I have.

Share the "real story" of Mitt Romney's dog, who was locked in a crate on top of Mitt's car for hundreds of miles. He's now singing the truth — while playing a mean blues guitar. Song is courtesy of Ry Cooder. Video was produced by Robert Greenwald, Brave New Films. Just released today!
